The Annual Dieppe-Riverview Ringette Tournament is back with its 37th edition!

DIEPPE -- The Greater Moncton area rinks will host 91 teams and over 1300 ringette players from the 3 Maritime provinces. This annual tournament, which is organized jointly by the Riverview Ringette Association and the Dieppe Ringette Association will run from Thursday, March 9th to Sunday, March 12th.

The purpose of the tournament is to promote the sport of ringette and offer the young players an opportunity to participate in a major tournament. Teams attending will compete for honors in the following seven categories: FUN-1, FUN-2 , Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16/19 and Open 18+. A total of 170 games will be played on 6 surfaces in the region with 38 teams from Prince Edward Island, 22 from Nova Scotia, and 31 from New Brunswick. New this year, a skills competition will challenge the best skaters and goalies in the Maritimes!

This is one of the largest ringette tournaments in Eastern Canada. Ringette is a growing team sport with unparalleled speed and accuracy. For those who would like to try it, a free Come Try Ringette session will be held on the lower rink at the Byron Dobson Arena in Riverview on Saturday March 11th at 10:30am!
